About us
The Central Coast Regional Development Corporation was established to be the State Government‘s lead agency in creating development projects and opportunities over key government land holdings across Central Coast of NSW.
It was created under the Growth Centres (Development Corporations) Act and it has replaced expanded the role of the former Festival Development Corporation.
What does the Corporation do?
The role of the CCRDC in its broadest sense is to pave the way for revitalisation, growth and investment across the Central Coast. It does this by:
- Brokering development outcomes on strategic government sites, land already held by the corporation and lands identified as part of the Gosford Challenge.
- Facilitating the development of regional centres and renewal corridors identified through regional planning strategies.
- Facilitating private sector investment and development on key state land holdings
- Asset and property management of lands held by the corporation
The Corporation works across all levels of government and the community.
Key Projects
The Corporation currently has a lead role or is a key participant in the following projects across the Central Coast:
- Implementation of the Gosford City Centre Master plan
- Mt Penang Parklands site at Kariong
- Warnervale Town Centre
- Wyong Employment Zone
- The Landing at Gosford – a major waterfront development in the heart of the Gosford
- The Entrance Town Centre revitalisation
The Corporation is working very closely with the community and all sections of government to deliver new investment opportunities by attracting private sectors interest that will activate key Government landholdings across the Central Coast. This activation of these key sites will bring a new era of economic growth and investment.
By creating an environment for new investment the Corporation is ensuring that the Central Coast is well positioned to meet the growing needs of an ever increasing population.
